We are a young, enthusiastic couple currently living on the west coast of Auckland. We are passionate about looking after the health of our people and always take the approach to practice what we preach by making sure every part of our business is sustainable, now and in the future. There is only one planet … Lets take care of it …
A little history of where the idea to form our company came from:
Saras and I met in 2004, while working and living in Auckland’s CBD. Often we found ourselves escaping the hustle and bustle of the city to relax and clear our minds. We became determined to create a more peaceful lifestyle.
In 2005 we made the move to Muriwai Beach. We now had more time to persue our interests. We planted our first vege garden, following Organic principles and as vegetarians we found great satisfaction in growing and harvesting our own food. During this time we became an active part of our community, joining various gardening and environmental groups whilst meeting many inspirational people.
Our eyes were opened to a whole new way of life.
As our interest in an Organic and Sustainable lifestyle blossomed, we found many of the products that we were purchasing that claimed to be “natural” or “organic” were in reality far from it, containing various toxic and harmful chemicals. We began our search for high quality organic products that had simple ingredient lists and were 100% Pure. Soon we started supplying our friends and family, then friends of friends, as demand grew we created Eco Earth Organics and from there things have really taken off.
With a focus now on finding new and innovative products that are either Certified Organic, Fairtrade or 100% Pure we still find it hard sorting out the products that truly contain no harmful chemicals, parabens and other Reputable Suppliers.We are now working towards our dream of owning an Organic and Sustainable Farm where we can educate others about the benefits of leading a healthy, vegetarian lifestyle.
